Personal Life

I was born and raised in Merrill Wisconsin but I currently reside with my wife, Marissa, in Onalaska Wisconsin. I found my way to the La Crosse area to complete my Bachelor of Science degree in Finance at the Univeristy of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Prior to becoming a financial planner, but while completing my finance degree, I was an intern for the City of La Crosse in their finance department. I also was a junior associate at Mutual of Omaha during my last year of college. Upon graduating from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, I joined Mutual of Omaha Advisors as a financial planner. I have been with this firm for a number of years and serve many areas of Wisconsin and Minnesota.

Financial Planning Process

Step 1 – Introductory Consultation
  • I will listen to your concerns and goals and can help determine if a financial plan is right for you
Step 2 – Tell Your Financial Story
  • To help provide a clear understanding of your financial picture, we’ll review your key financial information. This information aside, the biggest driver of a financial plan should be your financial goals and objectives
Step 3 – Develop Your Plan
  • No two financial plans are exactly the same. I can craft a carefully constructed plan that addresses your financial goals and objectives, while taking into account your current financial situation
Step 4 – Present Your Plan
  • After the plan is developed, I’ll present it to you to make sure it addresses your needs
Step 5 – Act on Your Plan
  • Once you approve the plan, we will take the proper steps to put the plan in action
Step 6 – Live Your Plan
  • Your financial needs could change – and likely will – after your financial plan is developed. I’ll conduct regular reviews to make sure your financial plan continues to meet your current needs
